Artist Statement
My work investigates what it means to be simultaneously natural and supernatural. To exist as one seeking a higher path, calling, ambition.
I’m interested in dichotomies, ambivalence and serendipity. In arbitrary decision making, in intuitive behaviour and the juxtaposition of things. Simple patterns, routines, systems and process all contribute to the conceptual structure within my videos. Purpose and purposefulness are key themes that are included within my thinking. Discipline, banality, and human behaviour are of interest to me. Human interaction, corporate action, participation and collaboration are of interest to me.
