Age Concern (Sedgley) / Red Hall School (Gornal) / Himley Road Church
Old Story New Story was an inter-generational project based around and celebrating living in the Gornal area of Dudley. The aim was to break down barriers and to build respect between different ages and groups within the community, by sharing experiences and stories. It provided the opportunity for participants to work with professional writers and artists to explore writing, reading, story telling and visual methods of creating a narrative.
The stories and illustrations were collated into a book that was given to all participants, local libraries and schools. TAP worked in partnership with Age Concern Sedgley, Red Hall School, Gornal and the Himley Road Church.
